Thung Khe is better known by the name “Da Trang” (White Stone) Pass because the peak of the pass is covered with the white of rock. Ma Pi Leng Pass with 9 curved bends along the precipitous cliffs, under which is a deep abyss, is considered the “Great Wall of Vietnam”. The roads might be exceptionally hard to ride, yet the scenery along the way makes it all worthwhile. In sunny days, the soaring mountains and deep valleys appearing in front of travelers’ eyes, while in cloudy days, the sea of the flour-white cloud will make you feel like you are in the heaven.
